Yes, please see What Not to Consign for a list of items that we will not accept at our events.
Currently there are no limits to the amount of items you can consign however, please consider quality over quantity! You probably do not want to end up with a bunch of unsold items that were either really out of style or in an undesirable condition.
At the end of the sale, all consignors have the option to either pick up their unsold items OR donate them. Donations of this sale will go directly to local charities. Any items not being donated will need to be picked up by the designated pickup time following the sale, or will be donated. NO EXCEPTIONS will be given!
Yes. However, we will be posting sales price suggestions in order to keep the pricing of the event cohesive. We understand that some items are more high-end than others and we have some guidelines for those as well. See our Pricing Guidelines.
Consignment registration will require a $25 payment up front. This money will go towards the cost of the venue rental and is non-refundable. (**If in the event that River Bend Kids is not allowed to operate due to COVID-19, a full refund on registration will be issued to all consignors. We do not foresee this happening as we have taken every measure to ensure that we are fully compliant with the Governor’s orders.)
As a consignor, you will enter all items into the Consignor Portal. Once you enter an item, it will be assigned a number and will be tracked through our system. It will be your responsibility to make sure all items are tagged properly (printed on card stock and attached using a clothing tagging gun).
Consignors can purchase a tagging gun online. Amazon sells them for approx. $10. You can hold onto it for all future sales. Here is an example. Or, River Bend Kids will have a very LIMITED amount of tagging guns that can be checked out in exchange for a deposit.
Drop-off appointments will be available through the Consignor Portal and will be dropped off directly at the venue. More information will be emailed to each consignor as the event date approaches.
No. River Bend Kids will have hangers available! This is one less thing consignors have to worry about.
We estimate that all sellers will be paid within 3-7 days after the event.
